Professional Engineers in Private Practice (PEPP)

PEPP objectives are:

• PEPP addresses the professional, legal, and managerial concerns of engineers who are providing their technical expertise to the public.
• PEPP addresses such issues as education, continuing professional development, practice management, legal decisions, unfair government competition, standard contract documents, professional liability, public relations, government laws and regulations, quality-based selection, and ethics.
• Among the functions of PEPP is to provide specific information on state and national legislation, regulations and programs of special interest to consulting engineers. PEPP also offers business-related benefits to consulting engineers such as court-tested contract documents and assistance in obtaining professional liability coverage.
