Assistant City Engineer – Frederickburg, TX

The CITY OF FREDERICKSBURG is accepting applications for Assistant City Engineer. The Assistant will participate in and oversee a variety of civil engineering design and review work. Ideal qualifications include civil construction plan design and review experience. Candidate must possess AutoCAD design experience with LDD or Civil 3D.  Design experience should include roadway design, water and sewer design, plan and profile sheets and production of construction staking plans. Must have knowledge of drainage and hydraulics. An Engineering degree from an ABET accredited college or university is required.  Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the State of Texas is required.  Experience in the above fields is a must. Tired of the corporate world? Small 13 person Texas Registered Engineering firm has been in business since 2005 and has posted annual sales over $1 million. Services include Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Construction Materials Testing. Firm has completed U.S. Army COE inspection and is preparing for the estimated $900 million in construction proposed at Ft. Hood over the next few years.
 
Motivated self-starter with 7-10 years of experience in providing cradle to grave geotechnical reports with the ability to provide the “final answer” for commerical projects, educational facilities, multi-family structures, roads, utilities, water storage towers, residential subdivisions, etc.
